We are just about to head over to Vaila again today. Hopefully we will be putting in the headlining in all the cabins and we will fit the new cupboards that Andy has made for the rear cabin. This will give us much better storage for clothes etc. Andy is also going to fit the self steering gear. The new water tanks are in and all the electrics appear to be working. The second solar panel is making a difference even in this rubbish weather!

So far everything appears to be on track for launch in the first week of June. We then hope to sail out to Canna and meet up with Andy’s dad there  and to check that everything is working well. Andy’s dad is 82 and still sailing his own boat (Hunter Sonata)! He is an inspiration!! We just hope that the wind does not stay northerly.
